With most people having access to the internet these days, it's not uncommon for the World Wide Web to be the first stop when looking for local suppliers. It would seem logical then for all local businesses to have their ‘presence’ on the internet much in the same way as they appear in the Yellow Pages or Thomson Local. For medium to large companies with large advertising budgets and good IT departments there won’t be any problems but what about the small businesses without those kinds of resources?
